In 2001 I decided I would like another breed for the showring  as well as the labradors, although I looked at many different breeds I always came back to the rottweiler.
After much research into the breed and meeting some at shows, I took the step of finding a breeder.
After emailing various breeders I decided to go and meet them and their dogs at one of the Championship shows. Having gone to meet these breeders I walked into the rottweiler section and immediately fell in love with a gorgeous looking rottweiler named Eva who was owned by a breeder I had never spoken to before!!!
This lady turned out to be Penny Hopgood of the Saintlythans kennel. I also met Derek, her husband that day.
On returning home I tried to decide which breeder I would like to approach for a puppy but I couldn't get Eva out of mind so a few days later I rang and asked the Hopgoods if they would consider me for one of their puppies.
A few months later I was invited by them to go and look at a litter of 5 week old puppies. 3 weeks after this I returned to collect my gorgeous little girl Lottie.
Lottie fitted in with the labradors really well and I have never looked back.
Lottie was brought to show and she has done me proud. Her temperment is superb and her character well what can I say.................
Lottie was mated to the Hopgoods Imported male Drim and produced a lovely litter of 9 puppies. From this litter I kept Riot and I hope he will follow in his mothers footsteps.

THANKYOU  EVA, PENNY AND DEREK for making it all possible.
